This option is for those who
cannot commit to a long-term involvement but are prepared to make

Recipients of this assistance will be selected
based on the child's need for surgery that has to be performed outside
Russia, or the family's need to pay for costly long-term care for severely
handicapped children.
You may also opt to offer a substantial

| 4. Host family |
| |
I would like to serve as a host
family and pay for expenses associated with a trip by the child and
the child's parent or guardian to your place of residence. The expenses
will include visa costs ($120 per person for 2 people), tickets (around
$300 round-trip to Europe, $700 to USA for 2 people), board during their
stay, as well as possible other expenses of your choice, such as medical
examinations, counseling etc. You will host a family in which a child
either needs minor medical assistance and psychological rehabilitation, or
a major medical procedure such as surgery, the payment for which has been
arranged by another donor or hospital (or you, if you answer "yes" to the
next question). Please indicate the number of families that you are
